On this tape we hear two tracks with a completely different feel, one mellow ambience and the other hypnotically sinister.

Adam's track 'New Western' uses samples from one of Adam's first ever recordings 'Western'. On that that release Adam used guitar as his main source of sound, and here that guitar has been cut up using samplers. This has created a more flowing long form piece of drone/ambience, eliminating some of the more harsh, abrasive qualities of the stuff on 'Western'.

Amnertia is a moniker for some of the works of Max Leonard Hitchings. Max is one of the dudes behind Transient Constellations, a well respected label and promoter for experimental/avant garde music and art. The lineup of Amnertia changes constantly and this recording features the enigmatic 'Ms Bliss'. On 'United Scarves of Redrock' Max uses a loop of a well known piano piece, and makes it maddening. Full of dischords, and tension filled cut up loops, Max turns the raw recording of the piano on its head.
